Yeah, and I like being in the open air too, can't get that in a enclosed truck really.

ATVs. Mostly because I grew up riding them all over TN hills :)

Never really wheeled a truck, other than my tacoma which is just dirt trails and some hills.

Depends on the time of year. I like the rhino for late spring/summer/fall, but winter, the only thing the rhino does is take my gear out to my ice fishing spot, or plow. I know I could get a cab, but thats lame. We dont have "trails" here. Just roads. The rhino is faster though on bad roads, and thats nice sometimes.

i just picked up a 2007 polaris outlaw 525 last april and i love it. for me, wheeling is for trucks, going around trails in speed and jumps and drifting is what i turn to my atv for. My ATV is only 2wd, its a sport racing quad, i wouldnt buy a utility quad for rock crawling and such, thats what ive got my truck for, er, when she gets built enough for it.

My 400ex is a sport racing quad too, amazes me where it will go though. I can go lots of places the big utilities can't. Do you have any pics of yours? I love sport quads, they are so much fun! It's great drifting on icy and snowy roads with them too.

I was seriously considering one of these a while back because of the IRS. I've ridden quads thousands of miles and most people never see any terrain you need 4wd for. Unless its mud.

I'v only had a chance to get out once so next time Ill have to remember to find out! It was in for warranty work a day after I got it, just got it back yesterday. The can am dealer was by far the best warranty experience I'v ever had.

I love the look of the can ams but I really wanted a black one so I vinyl wrapped it. Cant wait to get out on a real ride!

Quite possibly the toughest atv ever made right there. There is one out on our family farm, been out there since my great grandfather bought it new. It has millions of fencing miles on it, gone into the river bottom on many hunting excursions, been rolled many times; horribly neglected and abused. It still runs all these years later, smokes like no other and the brakes don't really work, but it just wont quit! You got any pics of the one you are riding? I'd like to see it.

that looks very nice? how hard was it to wrap it, and how much was the material? i just had the top end of the motor rebuilt, cost me 2k at the dealership. was my own fault, using it as a tractor. plowing and discing for deer food plots and plowing the driveway. i have two old tractors now, so i'll just be using it to plow and trail ride it!

i'll get some after it stops raining, it needs brakes, a new seat (doesn't have to have it,but it'd be nice), and a new fender

A friend in town owns a shop that does wraps so he did it for the cost of materials. (200 bucks) Another friend of mine plasti-dipped his quad and it looks awesome. Sucks about your top end, how many miles are on it? and was it just burning oil ?

Well guys was thinking about getting CDI and bead lock wheels and tires and all for the rhino. but i’m scratching that idea and going to save for like an 83 to 88 or so 4 runner and mod it for off roading. :D

I don't mean to bash your idea in any way, but I'v done that exact thing and it just ends up costing tons of time and money. Once you buy the runner you'll want bigger tires, lockers, winch, then it ends up breaking down often cause it's hard on an old truck and parts add up quick $$$. I ended up selling mine and putting the money into a machine that is already built for it and I'v never looked back.
