anyone know a good atv/utv accessory web site? I know i looked at one that had a bunch of truck/jeep stuff as well but can’t remember the name for the life of me.

need to look at syn line to replace the steel cable on the winch, also think i may get an extension, I used all but maybe 12 to 18” of the like 50’ on the winch. another 50’ would be nice to have with incase i get stuck agin and no tree within 50' of me. I used the closed/best tree i would, only other option was a stump about 20’ a way that i did not really trust.

So I'm looking into getting an ATV sometime soon. I'm looking at both the YFZ450 and the LTR450 and can't really decide between them. I do mostly trail riding, width is not a major issue though. I will be taking it to the dunes a few times each year. I will be doing light modifications to it, (exhaust, intake, maybe a tuner), but nothing too extensive. I will most likely be buying used. I'm looking for some insight from anyone who owns one or has put in some seat time with one.

I had a YFZ450, I loved it. It had tons of power and was an absolute blast to ride.

Awesome, I've heard that from others as well!

Everything I've read pretty much comes to the conclusion that I can't really go wrong with either bike. I know certain years have certain issues on each bike. But I think I'll just keep that in mind and if I come across one that's a deal then I'll just go with whatever that happens to be. I've still got a lot to learn about each bike though, so if anyone else can chime in it would be greatly appreciated!

Mine was an 05, I just sold it a couple months ago because I don't ride it anymore. The only thing I had to replace that wasn't my fault was the water pump seal. But it was pretty easy. The other part I replaced was my rear disc. Bent it on rocks twice before I invested in an aluminum skid.

any of you guys put a SMV triangle on your UTVs and get it on pavement? been reading up and seems like your supposed to have a windshield and wipers here in NC.. technically it is a farm vehicle for us, our tractor has none of the requirements cept for headlights taillights/ triangle and we have never been hassled with it.

i don’t. but i have been on the road a few times with no problems. here the triangle dose not cut it. but you can add windshield, and blinkers and a mirrors and get a tag kinda like for a motorcycle. but you can only go on roads with a 40mph speed limit or less. but thats not bad really. at least in my area i could go pretty far.

don’t get what i got from the dealer. i think they are called super white or something, i’ll go look in a few. but they have started melting the lenses on the head lights. they are nice and bright. I also had a fuse problem with them, and to put a one size bigger fuse.(yeah i know not the smartest thing, but i thought that since it was only a one size jump it would be ok.

Went to Busco Beach a few weeks ago. Rained most of the time but it was still fun. All pics of bikes were after one wash already
