Looking at a 2004 suzuki 400 4x4, looks to be in decent condition, anyone know anything about the suzuki eiger ATV's?
It's $700 so I could put a little money into maintenance.

When I had a quad, I used to ride year round. I loved riding in the snow. It was 2wd though so once it got too deep, I was pretty much SOL until the snowmobiles packed things down for me.

Hey guys, need a little advice. I'm looking to buy an atv with my tax return this year and my limit is $4000. I found a guy on craigslist selling a 2007 brute force 750 with 2400 miles on it. It also has 2" lift w/ 30" tires. It's a pretty sharp looking ride i was just wondering what you guys thought about this. Does it have too many miles on it or is there anything I need to look for specifically when I go to check it out. Thanks for any help.

With big tires like that it's hard on the axles so when you take it for a ride, put it in 4wheel and listen for any clicking or grinding. Also with Big tires it's a sign he probably took it in some pretty serious mud, take a good look at the radiator for dirt stuck in there, and open the Airbox up and look for any signs of mud/water being in there. The brute force 750 has a pretty solid motor so as long as he's done regular maintenance you shouldn't have any problems there. It really all comes down to how he has taken care of it.

Well, I went out and pulled my 400 out of winter storage yesterday, springtime is around the corner! We got a forecast of high 50s and low 60s for next week so I am going to be riding the quad to work and saving gas! Thank god I live in a state that allows quads to be registered and licensed for use on public roadways! Love Montana.

From what I've seen, polaris is the clear leader in the utv industry.

Any idea when used sports atvs are gonna start coming up for sale (looking for a 400 or 450 trx). I've talked to multiple dealers and they said that there won't be many for sale until riding season's over.

The break in period Sucks... 20 hours or two tanks of gas... It's hard not to Hit the skinny pedal... I was advise to keep it under 25mph and no hard rock crawling. I got about 6 hours on it and about half a tank... It's also crazy to think it can go up to 250 miles on one tank.. At least that's what I was told.

Yeah I'd hold back on rock crawling until its broken in. What do you plan on using it for?
