I don't remember how wide my dads big bear is but where we hunt some of the trails are pretty tight so I'm worried it won't be able to fit down some of them

i don’t know anything about them. if the cub is anything like their mowers, it’s most likely a POS as well. i know a few people with their mowers and it’s in the shop more than it is mowing their yard. and i know some of those off brand are chines made and really hard to get parts. some of the parts are from all kinds of other atv’s or UTV’s and it’s hard to tell witch big name it is from.

Cool thanks man. Did you get a handle bar rocker switch along with the remote? It says its included in the box of the superwinch. Hopefully I can mount out up somewhere that looks clean. It should be here tomorrow so it will get put on this weekend.

i think we did. i don’t remember. but i like the remote better because you don’t have to be inside the rhino to work it. i want to say it’s 7’ long.:notsure: but if i’m pulling something big or what ever. i could stand be hind the rhino in the safe sone incase the line was to break. also i can stand in the front and feed the line on to the drum nice and neat all by my self.

well about to look and see what it may cost to get the rhino street legal. i hear they are about to try and out law it, and it’s becoming a PITA. but if you get it before they out law it, they will grandfather you in or what ever. i know i need turn signals, and maybe side mirrors. have a one on the inside, and have folding windshield.

I wish they could be street legal here.
On edit, I ended up building my own mounting plate for the winch, sandy stuck mine somewhere on the east coast and I had to go elk hunting. So I just built one. It picked up the plow just fine, hopefully my shoddy welds hold! Haha.

4wheelin4banger posted up some vids about it in the show your quad/dirtbike thread a few days ago. Looks really neat. Can-Ams are still a mystery to me, only seen one once, but they seem like a good product.

yeah they are really good! a lot of people hate them, and i think it’s because of the price. but even the 1000C commander will eat the 900 Rzr for lunch! those rotax engines are nothing to mess with. they are made really good, up their with honda and yamaha. but with a fuck tone of power! i was looking on rhino talk, and they said conversions for the rhino. with a 800 or 912 rotax. and saying the 912 rotax in a rhino would do 90+MPH with beats the hell out of a Rzr. BUT it coast like 8k to do it all. and most of that is the coast of the engine, they are hard to get and have to be shipped over here.

i think polaris is OK. but i think out of all their atvs’utv’s they only focus on the RZR’s quality. i know a punch of people that have popo as i call it. and it’s in the shop more than the trails.

Yeah I have heard mixed reviews about Polaris atvs as well. I so far have not had any major issues with any of my hondas, had 2 dirtbikes, and currently a honda 400ex atv. Great machines.

yeah. we have a ’03 recon, and i have flipped it at least 4 times. and but it just on it’s side prob 30+ times. have jumped it, crashed into a few fences. and ride it like i stole it.nothing is bent, and it ride and runes great. only problem we had was the ES shifting solenoid or something. it would not let it down shift some times.

also have a ’04 rancher. i have flipped it like 2 times since ’08(we got it used) have put it on it’s side like 6 times maybe more. i jump it and ride it balls to the wall. agin nothing bent and runs great.

i have a question, i have a water-cooled quad, am i supposed to let it idle after i ride it hard so the water circulated through the radiator?

not that i know of. rhino is water cooled, and i ride it balls to the wall for hours(2 even 3 hours with out stopping) and i just stop and turn it of/shut it down. i don’t let it idle at all. the only time it really sits and idles is on really cold days(below like 40) i will let the atv’s sit for maybe 5 min before i ride them. if it is even colder i will let sit longer. reason is so the oil and engine can get up to a good operating temp.
