So I'm looking at getting the max lock locker for my 05 tacoma prerunner NON-TRD. I tried to search it on here but no luck finding anything. I'm also not real tech savvy so if there is already a thread about it, that's why I didn't find much.

Anyone have this locker or know much about it? I'm just looking to get more traction for light off roading. I wanted to get the Eaton ELOCKER but I was told they don't make it for my truck.

I am open to other options but I do have a limited budget.

Any help would be great. Thanks again.

I believe Harrop/Eaton just came out with an e-locker for the Tacoma. https://yotalockers.com/products/harrop-elocker-a9334 There are some other threads if you search by Harrop.

Ok thanks for the help. I'm new to the offloading thing and am completely lost when it comes to differentials and gear ratios. The more I read and learn the more I find things to consider doing to my truck and it just give me a headache because the dollar signs just keep piling up.

So since I'm looking into lockers and more off road capable suspension, obviously I'm gonna be looking into larger off road tires. Should I change the rear gearing to accommodate running larger tires? Since I'm gonna be getting a locker put in I figure I should just have both done at the same time.
