Anyone here fitted their sub box in a 3rd gen with rear window motor?

    https://www.xtrememobilesolutions.com/toyota/tacoma?product_id=226

My friend is looking looking to buy this and want to know if things need to be removed for this. He knows the rear storage bins need to be removed.
    What we want to know
1)Will he be able to keep all the child restraint anchors?
2)Will he need to remove the brackets that hold the bins in place?
3)Will this clear the window motor on the 2018
    4) Will the seat backing plastic need to be removed?
    5) Will a jl10w3v3-2 fit in this box?

Anyone ever used their box, is it any good? Asking for a friend. I told him about Mr. Marv but he didn’t want to wait. Since I placed an order 2 months ago but last time I spoke to him, he just got done a previous batch. Hope he’s ok and doing well. Marv was pretty busy moving shops when I put my order in.

Just looked at it all and here’s what I know.

    1) It’s kinda iffy on if these can stay or not. There are not any photos showing the back of the box so, most likely not since it has to sit flush behind the seats. Better have that cutting wheel ready.
    2) this is also iffy, but you SHOULD be able to since they do not protrude much and if you choose to sound deaden first, this will level out the back even more.
    3) can’t help ya on this one since I have an 06 lol.
    4) the surround seems to be very slim so you might be able to get away with keeping the backs on, but I would go ahead and just yank them off since they are not seen anyways.
    5) if you run the 10 inch in this box, it’s gonna be close but should fit exactly since the both of the given depths are the same.

I know my answers are all maybe answers, but it is super hard to give an exact answer since everyone is different. It’s pretty simple for me in all of this since I yanked out my single rear seat haha.

I just posted plans for a box I made and my truck has the electric rear window.

Update I went with a box from sub box shop and it fits my jl10w3v3. I still need to test fit the box behind the seats, screw it down, do terminals and wiring. 45706262-0F87-457D-8AA2-3541D32831E4.jpg
