I have my stock radio in my truck. The other day I turned on my truck and noticed that there was this static and the music was going in and out. Normally I use my Bluetooth and so I went ahead and reset the settings on that and on the radio. Once done I noticed that the issue still continued to happen. I than switched audio by using a AUX and testing out the same issue on the regular radio. I than realized that I was still getting the same issue. At that point I knew it had to be something with the hardware of the radio or the speaker harness in the back of the radio. I took apart the deck and I didn't see any thing burned out on the harness. I didn't see anything visible that could also be the issue. Everything does work on the radio its just when I higher the volume above 20 than it starts static again. The reverse camera works, as well as the GPS, systems settings for the truck and the radio.

Has anyone seen an issue like this?

Nope. My only suggestion would be to take it to the dealer and try to get it covered under warranty.
