    never understood why ppl want to keep the stock hu, its hideous, and sounds like crap......also very little adjustability, no video, usb...

    Because it fits, it's paid for, looks clean and stock to potential theives. USB, I-pod plug, Bluetooth and steering wheel controls all work great. There are certain features you might not get that you can with an aftermarket unit but the recent stock units have a lot of features. When paired up with a good interface you get a clean 8v preout signal. It's all about what the owner wants I suppose. If I had an older truck without all the new features I would definitely change the head unit.

    Pretty sure when they see rims armour etc they're already attracted to it. And you can get after market decks with detachable face plates, problem solved.
