while driving my brand new 2019 Tacoma the other day at night. My audio screen blacked out. Music and audio was still playing at the time just the screen went black. Basically looked like it rebooted itself. Any suggestions before I take it to the dealership.

I had a buddy who this happend to on his 4runner and they had to replace the screen. This also happened to me on a dodge ram.

If turning it on and off doesnt restart it, maybe unplugging the battery for a few minutes you can try.

Same thing kept happening to mine. I took it into the dealership for the 5k service last weekend and they told me it needed an update. I would suggest taking it in and asking them if it needs a software update (chances are it does).
