    Is the H-key version wired to take care of the OEM alarm when remote starting? The diagram at fortin.ca mentions another wire to be spliced.

    No, there is a setting in the system that unlocks your truck right before start to disarm the alarm then re locks the truck when started. Orange wire is only needed if this doesnt solve the issue, but other HKey users had no issues with factory alarm when the Unlock/lock setting has been set.

    If you have an SR that does not have keyless entry, I have a kit that will give you both remote start and keyless entry. Also no need for cutting Tpms. 100% plug and play

    Automobility has updated the CL6 and MyCar app to fix the 4g issues. Make sure you are using version 3.3.95

    Unfortunately they introduced a new bug into the system to where the gps locks up the app as soon as you drive and have to reboot the cell connection.

    Update, I have spent over 20 hrs with automobility testing out various fixes for the 4g units with push to start issues. AM is borrowing a Tacoma from a local dealer and installing an evo-all along with a 3g and 4g unit to figure out why when the car moves for some people the 4g unit needs rebooted. This does not impact everyone, but the majority of users. Will keep you posted and those with issue I will get something worked out for you from AM.

    I bought my Hkey from jmeitz months ago. I recently bought the Cellphone module. It took about 15 mins to get the cellphone part up and working. jmeitz answered every question I had during the install. Would buy again

    If anyone is on the fence about this DO IT, you’ll be glad you did. I just installed a Hkey unit with Smart Mod. Easiest mod I’ve done. It’s 99.9% plug and play. Like they say just one wire to cut and it’s clearly labeled and easy to see. If you have ever installed an aftermarket radio then you can do this. I’m loving mine, everything works as it should.
