    I'm surprised I got the remote start with cell module today, I was expecting sometime next week since I ordered late. @jmeitz was prompt with replying to his messages and even sent out instructions/video before the product arrived at my doorstep. Couldn't be more pleased with his service!

    Going to be placing another order late next week while I am on vacation. I spoke with my distributor and prices will remain the same for another few weeks. So 190 for 3x and 350 for 3x plus cell start shipped in US.

    I installed mine a few days and it is AWESOME! Just the ability to check and see if the truck is locked(if not, just press the lock button!) from my phone is great...worth it alone. Used the remote start this morning and got into a toasty truck.

    Ok it would be a cool feature! We just bought another Rav4 for the daughter that was supposed to have Remote Connect with the Entune 3.0 but apparently this Rav4 didn't come with it even tho Toyota said it did. The Entune app works on Apple watch from what I saw in a video.

    Oh well you are going to be my workaround for her to have remote start... DM coming your way...

    You don't need it but it seems like people that purchased the 3xPTS come back and add the cell module. :notsure:

    I got my remote start from another vendor. But I bought the 3x remote start and realized not long after that this remote start was almost useless without the smart phone module. Reason being, especially since the push to start tacomas shut off when you open the door, by the time you're in range to use the 3x remote it's not nearly enough time to cool/heat the truck. I live in az so the 20 seconds it takes for me to walk to my car and use the 3x remote start was pointless. So with the smart phone module, I can start the car several minutes before I head to the car.

    Yeah that's a great deal! Not to mention you also get almost exactly to the parking spot GPS locator if the car were to be stolen.

    I mean I guess it all depends on you're going to use the remote start, this may or may not be worth it.

    But at $325, I reccomend getting the whole shabang.

    Edit - also get the voltage of your battery. Several advantages of getting the smart phone module.

    and as others have reported they save on insurance due to having a gps device in their vehicle. Results may very.
