I just installed the below tweeter and speaker in the front door of a second gen. Still getting a scratchy when playing sounds with real deep bass presence. Any suggestions? User install error? Do I need to replace back door speakers? Should I add an amp? Am I just an absolute chowder head? (probably)
*note head unit is some Kenwood monitor I installed a few years back (pretty basic model)

Did Crutchfield recommend these speakers to you?

It would surprise me if Crutchfield recommended that set up unless he’s going to add to it later but even then I don’t think they would go with the 2 way and tweeter combo for the fronts.

    That’s what I am hoping.
