Thanks for the great input Jberry. you are right, they are the bomb and aren't made out of cheap stuff like some other china made bars. They are truly equal to RI's. Some other chinese bars are much cheaper but you get what you pay for. We bought from a few suppliers at first and like you said some of them turned out bronze in colour. Some didn't even come with a wiring harness!

I wouldn't overprice lights out the a*s but rigid does that anyway. That's their own stupidity for easily making competition including and excluding aurora light bars. I wouldn't ever own a rigid when you can go get light bars that are just as bright and 1/3 the cost. Literally. Even if some are china bars, you could always buy 3 for the price of one rigid. Common sense to me.

If you're talking about these, yeah, but I get OK's. Amazing lights, Chris is an amazing guy, and his lights are 1/3 the price. And are not auroras. OP, not trying to let people not get yours, but I'm just making a point that rigid is idiotic.

I guess that Gelo doesn't get the fact that is rigid's bar is from china too but "assemble" in the usa which makes it possible to apply that ''made in the usa'' sticker. He should know that the RI patents aren't even owned by them and the reason why they aren't happy with Aurora is maybe because they were their suppliers ;)

And if you want to spend a crap ton of money on a rigid, do as you please as well. It's common since to buy a china bar over a rigid. Rigid has a lifetime warranty, awesome. It might pay for itself if the rigid last more than 20 years then has a problem. I've had my OK for 3 years. Still works like new, isn't faded, no leaks, still as bright as day one, no color temperature change. Rigid imports their housings, assembles them here so they're "Made in the USA" They have a fancy light design, that's it. Side by side comparison the light brightness is no different. I guess rigid owners have no common sense or wipe with $100 bills. :notsure:

Nope. Rigid's "patents" aren't "illegal" in Canada.

their is a difference. I compared a DUAL row bluefire against my single row RI. The RI through the light farther against the dual row, thats all i was able to tell. But, to each his own.

OP, I hope people purchase lights and you can grow your business. Props to you for offering another brand! (even tho some dont like it)

I know what you're saying. The dual row was probably flood/spot combo. The single row was spot. So of course it will throw further since it's spot. Compare a spot with a spot or a combo with a combo then you'll see there's no difference.

Hey Gelo, aurora did change their lens design as to not infringe on the rigid patents. Their newer bars are different. Just an FYI for you guys debating this issue.

I'm confused.. Hmmm. So the single row was combo as well? If so, I still see what you mean. Combo china bars have only a few spots on the sides and floods in the middle.

x2. Didn't know that. I thought the lights themselves were supposedly patented, not the lens.
