I got a

$91 viair 88p portable compressor kit (12V, 120 psi, forup to 33" tires)

viair 88p for around 50 bucks. Its good for up to 33's! Works great for me, I consider it the poor man's OBA Might be something to consider!

who has an fcu in the atx area with a branch in north austin? how do ou like it what kinda rates for used auto loans.. may be making a big move! even has AC!

No prob! and I didn't mount it anywhere, its just a portable one that you hook up to your battery when you need it. I switch it between both of my trucks depending on which one im driving

I've been with United Heritage Credit Union since they were Bergstrom Federal (and the airport was an Air Force Base). They've been fantastic. Don't know how they compare, though.

I have RBFCU as well, and they financed my used taco @ 3.7%. Bear in mind though, Im only 22 and have very little credit history as far as large purchases go

 

I use TDECU and they have been great. I had a loan of 20K for 5.5% on my Taco when I bought it used. Then when toyota dropped the ball and offered me 9% I told them I already had a loan ready to go. They went all the way down to 5.4% just so they could get the loan instead of my CU. I have also seen a lot of advertisements for Velocity CU here in town.

 

That's pretty damn good actually for a used vehicle and you being 22. I was 26 when I got my taco but my credit wasn't all that great back then so I was expecting a little higher interest. My mom has been looking at getting a new Equinox or Terrain and she was offered 1.3% by our CU.

 

Y'all don't even want to know what things were like 30 years ago.

11% was common for under 25 for a new car, and 8-10% for a used car.

 

thats a good set up right there, i had really good credit which is good an im 24 on sept 9th.. you know anything about terms on private party purchace when you inquired bychance?

 

Unfortunately I don't know about private party purchase sir.. I picked my 6spd up from CarMax..
