Is that two different sets or did someone actually drive in, turn around and come out again.

    Totally intentional. :bananadead:

Totally moronic. I thought it was hilarious, and will laugh at it every time I swing by the heeb.

@Spansfelder. I'm skipping TnT myself. I plan on being at the park gate between 10 and 10:30.

@ChadsPride gets there at like 6PM the night before.

Been there done that. 3 sets of T4R sliders in one day.

So much want!!! I am starving right now but I just finally fell into bed so food will have to wait.

Unfortunately I'll not be able to make it out tomorrow. I need a sort of self care day after all the stress I've been under from the flooding and then the work from gutting the house. I'm tired, sore, and need a stiff drink. So tomorrow is a day for brunch(heavy on the mimosas)and I'm picking up a new set of stock 5th gen Trail wheels for the 4R. Hoping I won't need spacers to run them with my 285's. If you have a 4R running that setup let me know. Then I plan on grilling some nice Ribeyes for dinner for the friends who helped us with the house as a thank you.

I wanted to also say thanks to everyone in here who reached out to me and offered to come and help and for all the support. Love y'all.

We'll definitely miss having you! But yeah, totally don't blame you. Wishing you the best out there!

Just as a heads up, btw - might want to check those wheels. Stock Trail wheels are only 7.5" wide.

If you're planning on running 285's, you may call your tire guy to double check. Everything I've heard is that you need an 8-8.5" wide wheel at minimum for them, and the stock ones are too narrow.

Pretty much the reason I want to get SCS SR8's.

I had read in the 5th gen section of T4R.org where people are running 285's on stock Trail Edition wheels all the time. Even airing them down to 15psi for wheeling in rocky areas it's just more likely to lose a bead. The recommended minimum width is 7.5 inches for the 285 tire which the TE wheels are so I figure I can always give it a try. The aftermarket wheels that came on my 4runner are 8 inches wide so I could always put them on there and then put my 265's on the Trail Wheels I suppose. I'm mainly wanting the TE wheels so I dont have to run the damn 1/8th inch spacer on my 285 setup. The wheel offset didn't account for the slightly concave look of the wheel and so my steelies barely rub the calipers. I guess I could always grind the caliper down in the spot it rubs as well.
