When I travel for work I tend to rent minivans because I end up being the group's driver. The thing I've noticed about the Sienna is you have to get the higher end trim for it to really be nice. Otherwise, it doesn't feel up to normal Toyota quality (or they were just dogged out - they were rentals). Lower trim Hondas seem better appointed - the Oddysey is really nice. The Kia minivan was really, surprisingly nice and had a lot of perks. Rented some decent Chryslers too, go figure.

Good luck! Might try looking on cars.com, I think they show local owner sales as well as used lots.

Agreed, Cap. Newer Kias never failed to surprise me; I was blown away by the quilted (admittedly fake) leather, sound system, and ergonomics in a top-tier Optima once. I'd personally stay away from GM products for much the same reasons you said to stay away from Fords. The initial build quality can appear to be great, but over time the trim pieces and electronics fall apart.

My wife and I are getting an '04 Chrysler Town & Country for free-99 from her late grandparents (via her parents, who have held on to it for us). Our first kid is due in about 6 weeks and we needed to upgrade from my wife's Mazda 3. I'm trying to convince her to get a 4Runner but she's not swaying so far...

My stepmom drove a Honda mini van over 220k miles and had no issues outside normal wear and tear. Only a few months ago did she finally get rid of it.

Criminal gangs seem to be alive and well in Central Texas. I'll bet dollars to donuts that these thugs have prior run ins with the law.

Good luck with having to replace your stolen property. A Sienna is lot like a Highlander, but with lot more usable interior space.

K&n filter and Magnaglow catback exhaust. Not doing anything else as I don't see the need to try and squeeze any more power. I get around 18 - 18.5 mpg's which I'm happy with. The exhaust and filter IMHO helped the mpg's. I used to get 16 - 16.5 before both mods.

If you really want to get more power save up for a Supercharger. With all your other mod's you'd really take advantage of forced induction and feel a huge difference. There are still TRD super chargers out there brand new even though Toyota stopped production on them. Just gotta talk to the dealer and they'll find them still in the parts database.

Guys I'm really sorry but I will be missing cars and coffee. My wife's soccer team made the finals tomorrow in a tournament and they have a good chance of winning the whole thing. They beat the team that is in the final with them so I promised her I'd go watch.

Hope y'all have a good time. Maybe we can organize a gtg sometime on a Saturday? Just meet for lunch or something? Just a thought.

Ok, Bobby is back from Utah but is unable to make Cars and Coffee tomorrow. He is up for future meets - just got to give him more warning. To refresh everyone's memory, Bobby drives this awesome piece of machinery:

Getting up EARLY to get the coffee. Then I want to get some pics just after sunrise from below the 360 bridge. So...maybe 0730 or 0800.
