Left my place at 08:00 this morning, pulled into Taco Cabana in Georgetown at 35 & 29 at 10:50 starving from not having eaten all day to be told tough shit, we're fumigating...

Of course they would close early on the one day that I drive all the way down from St. Louis.

Sitting in hotel lobby in Marble Falls eating the train wreck the girl at Whataburger handed me.

Weird, that whataburger is usually pretty damn good. Maybe it's the fact we've typically spend all day in the sun before going. Sorry about the luck man!

My luck is running pretty good considering all the carnage I witnessed on the way down here.

Have I missed anyone? @sarsaparilla are you going to meet us at JJ's BBQ for breakfast, or we meeting at the park? @CedarPark , I think you said you're meeting us for breakfast. What CB channel would be best? I've always used 14 because its far enough from 19 with good transmission, 18 I suppose is better transmission, but may be a bit crowded.

Found the problem with my CB, had the mount stackup wrong. Turns out that little nylon washer is super important

I prob won't meet up for breakfast, I'll likely already be out there.

I also found out the hard way that HF is closed until Friday unless you're a member.
But found a rad spot and I am currently camping a few miles down the way with the family for thanksgiving. Im gonna try and get to HF early Friday morn to snag a good spot. Can I get a roll call for who plans on camping Friday or sat night? I'll try and grab a spot that accommodates all of us if I can.
