These will work but they leak and there are too many moving parts to make them dependable in a pinch.

These are my go to for fluid transfers. The HF one uses some really cheap hose that breaks down really fast. I have no issues spending a few extra bills to get one that lasts. These are available at Amazon, Bass Pro and Cabelas. I have one that has been with me for at least 10 years and is still in fine shape.

On a side note jerry cans are a pain in the a$$ I retired mine years ago in favor of VP race jugs. 10x easier to use and no leaks. You just have to remember to vent them a couple of times a day on the trail.
They also fit perfectly 4 wide in the front of a short bed Tacoma.

 

Aweosme. I talked to someone there and they led me to the jiggler siphon, so I got one and it worked well. Chad helped holding Up the jerrys.

I’ll look into a higher quality one when this one degrades

I never remove my cans from the bed of the truck when using the “jigger” syphon hose. Plenty of height difference. You can see the tops of the VP jugs here that is where they live for trail use. Easy access to fill and empty.

 

If the jigger hose was 2 feet longer I could probably keep them in the dual Jerry can holder attached to my swing out bumper.

 

Dual swing out or single? If dual and swing out is on the left side open it and it might reach.
