HiddenFalls was fucking awesome! Thanks for the invite. Had a blast in my stock truck! And happy I finally got to meet some of y'all. I am definitely looking forward to the next outing. Hoping to have sliders and armor so my frame doesn't take such a beating. :p

As long as the frame takes the hits, you are more than fine! :D

Body panels / transfer case / transmission / oil pan and so on would be a hole different story.....

Hey y'all just wanted to apologize for not being as active as I should've been on Saturday, and doing stupid stuff like everyone waited me while finishing all of Greenmile. Hidden Falls is my forte and I feel I did a poor job, had a lot going on! Also feel bad about the body damage and @Large having to limp that truck home.

The destroyed CV happened on Midnight Run which is, depending on who you talk too, the second/third hardest trail in the park. I ended up destroying that CV half way down the trail and getting me through would've been hard with a fully functioning truck, much less with a truck that had no power steering and a CV hitting the brake line. However, we got it fixed! No excuses, just want to be objective and apologetic. Next time I'll take it easy, I often forget people in groups have a very diverse level of trucks and experience. It's fun to either help people or play with boys who have been around the block. I look at a ledge very differently than other people in the group and it becomes a challenge to learn who's comfortable and who's not to me. Luckily Zeb @Toyboata is a great middle ground, can't wait to see that thing armored. We need to get a Holiday run in for sure!

I ended up breaking down on the way back to Lubbock, lumping her home with on and off power steering. I'm not sure what happened. I have an idea but don't want to lead everyone to conclusions, it's front end related. I'm gonna try and get it into town today, the guys from Heart of Texas has a "help the poor ballsy college kid" wrenching day devoted to get my truck running again Saturday, so glad @Lars introduced me to those guys, they're another breed of awesome.

I don't mean for the sappy post, just had to vent a bit.

That was me. Tapped a tree when we inadvertently ended up on a 4 rated trail. :frusty:

Yet my stock truck did make it up there. :benchpress:

Haha nice. Well, learn on the lesser gear and watch how much better you do with upgraded gear!

By the way guys, if you or anyone you know works in IT, I'm hiring at most experience levels. I've been trying to staff up for months now so I'm going to start going through non-standard channels.

For my friends in IT who aren't on the forums, what's the best way to get them in touch with you?

Just got off the phone with Fabtech Motorsports and they said the strut is only cosmetic and I don't need it.

They are not including them in the lift kits anymore...... o_O
