I would say make sure its low enough to add a basket/rack full of shit and still stay below the cab to help with your mileage. unless you plan on carrying big stuff in the bed to that that low height would prohibit. If you go full height, it may look sleek but it'll but all your stuff out in the wind which will lower your mileage and reduce the life of anything that is in say a canvas bag or something like that

Also you may just load all your camping gear or whatever that you think will live in the bed and make sure you can get to everything and that it all fits underneath. The stuff that won't be on the rack of course. Also keep in mind the possibility of having to climb in there to get that small container that slid forward on a road trip. can you get in there to it if that happens? Or can you get to it from the side of the bed? just some small things I've figured out that can be a nuisance when on the road or trail with my softopper and running my bed platform.

A BMW? Really? Does this mean you're going to take up two parking spots, stop using turn signals, and fail to yield in a merge?

I pick the truck for both.

That thing is blocking a two car garage and to be honest, I don't think it has turn signals.....

    Those were optional....

Really worth the dough to get it powder coated? Buddy has a lead for me to get it done relatively cheap- $125-$150- but I'm not a huge fan of the extra expense if I can avoid it.

I personally would get it coated. Easier than doing all the prep work for painting and it will be an even finish. Especially for that price!

Bonfire run is the 20th, thats when @Toyboata and I will most likely be there. I probably won't be driving the truck though
