Austin Area TW Chapter (all gens welcome, even T4Rs; heck, just make it a Toyota and we're good)

I would trade Austin for Utah any day of the week. I proposed to the wifey at Snowbird...whatever peak is at 11,000'. Had to get her a little hypoxic so she'd say yes.

 

So anyone in Georgetown area during lunch in the meantime want to get food at somewhere greasy like Cane's? That place has fantastic management and food despite the 4 pounds you put on by walking in there.

 

Usually Fridays is my lunch out day. End up going somewhere close to that IKEA there at 35 and 1431. Razous got good food.

 

Friday could be cool - I can make something every other Friday because of a compressed work schedule. I only have to work 9 hour days so I get every other Friday off. In return I get a 30 minute lunch that I usually spend eating at my desk because #whitecollarjobproblems.

I spend that time on TW anyway.

 

Razzoo's is where I spent many nights drowning my sorrows with Worm Burners. Given that they're limited to 2 per visit (unless you mention that one was weak...), those nights ended early.

There's a Mexican place here in Leander at 183 & Sonny called El Jardin del Rey that's pretty awesome.

 

There's another great Mexican joint in Cedar Park off 183 north bound side. In a shopping center with a pet store in it, Jardin Corona, but that's definitely an after work thing cuz dem margaritas.

 

That's right. Same restaurant group as Jardin del Ray. Wifey said they were the same...same menu, same margaritas...down to the salsa being poured out of the same type of Sterilite containers from Walmart.

 

I'll have to check that one out eventually.

 

We're active, in the BS/circle jerking kind of way. Nothing of importance ever happens.

 

Then we're already capable of solving all the world's problems...over beer.

I am good for some local TW BSing I am in Cedar Park
We tried this concept 5-6 years ago and then spun off into a group named : "GATOR" that now has since died off. But anyhow I would like to get a once-a-month centex meet started.

 

I'll be down for a meet in the summer time when i'm back in town from school for sure. Hidden Falls trip should be necessary at some point as well.

 

Definitely have to plan out a Hidden Falls weekend. I'm good almost every weekend cept end of June and of course Independence Day weekend.

 

I'll be in town June-August so then would work for me. Gotta space out trips as well with this Toyota Jamboree thing.

 

In for updates! I always see nice looking Tacos driving around Austin, haven't met the owner of one yet...

 

Have we figured out a good day each month to have a lunch? Friday's are best for me too but any day can work. Some of you Georgetown folks could probably have a lunch on other days too, I work down in Georgetown by the Innerspace Caverns exit if anyone wanted to get some food at the Georgetown market area.
