WTF man? Why do people park like this? I even parked on the end of the row straddling the line to give the person next to me more room so not to hit my truck when they open the door..... ...........but WTF!!!??

Yep a good one too. Thankfully I have a friend who does mobile dent repair for a living and is here fixing it now. Property Management caught up with the two responsible (driver and passenger are related and work at the same company) and have agreed to pay for the dent removal. I also found out this is not the 1st or 2nd time these two have dented another vehicle parked next to them. Unrelated to my dent but the entire passenger side of that X3 is trashed. Looks like they turned too tight in the parking garage or hit a guard rail.

They're on the list!

It drives me nuts; I accidentally let my door on an older truck I had swing out and hit a mini-van next to me. It put a dent so I hung out until the lady came out of the store and showed her and apologized. She was super cool and appreciated me sticking around instead of leaving a note or just bailing out. Back then I had my insurance cover the dent repair.

 

Ah crap. At least they are going to pay for it.

I know they technically don't guarantee it won't happen again.

But, the odds will be more in your favor.

I still park in the back of every lot lol.

 

Same here an park backwerds or pull thru so I can pull straight out. @WebberLander Im glad your not out of pocket for it an they owned up to it when confronted.

I never understood how anybody could just swing their door open into another persons vehicle.

 

Not to mention you could practically look at one of the Tacomas body panels and dent it.

Happens so, so easily.​

 

Just noticed a tiny ding on my hood yesterday I swear it’s from a big grasshoppa I hit recently.
