There are threads on how to remove the trim and repaint/cover it in a variety of different ways. That's a lot cheaper than getting new trim. Thread here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trim-removal-how-to-solved.470055/

I've seen repaints and different vinyl applications, each to their owner's tastes.

BTW, welcome to TW! You're now on "the list."

I’ve hydrodipped some stuff, clear coated it and it didn’t hold up very well to everyday use. Thick vinyl is much more durable.

I need a grant or generous loan for an armoured truck front and rear end. Then I can just pit maneuver them when they start to act stupid.

Why not just wrap it, or spray paint it?

Figured I'd try swapping first as I've seen several people on here doing that. My backup plan is to wrap or paint.

You can do some wild and crazy designs, but have to be patient and know what your are doing. But it is a custom 1 of a kind design if you do.

We should see if anyone around can do a TTC pattern, lol.

My coworker dabbles with Hydro-Dipping. Small stuff though like cups and containers.

Hey to all the Northerns, has anyone seen the sand 3rd gen double cab with a RIP on back window and out of state plates? Just passed me on 620 going towards Steiner Ranch. Nice looking truck.

You’re already there too. I notice when there are new folks and update the OP. It sends a message, like “Austin rolls deep,” “this is an active group,” and “I have OCD.”
