Awesome! Leave them unpainted, will have to weld them before paint. Once they are pre fabbed and ready to weld to the frame, they can be painted. Use of a good self etching primer will ensure the paint will last longer. I've used Rustoleum truck bed coating to paint sliders to give them extra grip for steps.

 

You can do just the maxtrac to start, and add the OME or any aftermarket lift shock later. What are you wanting to do with the rear? Full leaf pack? AAL? Block?

I have nfab step bars but im considering upgrading to welded on slider

 

I just love the way the fenders and bedside look but that's cash and time I don't have

 

Space it out and it totally doable. You're right though, lots of time and money but mostly $$

Maxtrac spindles and Dakar leaf packs will have you loving your truck for a good while.

Dont get caught up in trying to level up your truck game to quickly just enjoy what ya got..I tripped up an now live hand to mouth sometimes, to me it was worth it but at times I ponder if I over did it.
