do y'all have any experience with ARE or Snugtop? what's your experience with them?

I was super upset when I found out John Dunsworth aka Jim Lahey passed away last year. Saw him & met him a few times with Randy and they put on a great live show too. The world is less funny without his shittyisms

If you guys want to go way back to Gen 0 TPB, check out One Last Shot on Netflix. Julian, Ricky, and Mr. Lahey, from the very early days. Kinda weird.

Had an ARE, currently have a Snugtop.
Can't say one is better than the other.

If you buy new you can get picky with features.
Used market is all about compromise.

Had a line of trim around the bottom edge that added a small touch, appeared more finished.

Prefer the streamlined look of the rear glass(no exposed handles)

 

I've got an ARE cap and it's great! Only issue is the piece that covers over the tailgate was a little brittle and cracked on me. Seems to be riveted on so could probably get it replaced. But it doesn't bother me too bad
