That would be awesome! I've heard stories about a diesel going into the new Tundras??????????

I know! Sadly most peeps step up to a Tundra, Silverado, or F-1fitty when they leave the Taco. Mostly the silverado that I have noticed personally. I mean it makes sense, they get about the same mileage as a Taco but with a V8 and they have more overall room. I have 2 friends with the Ram Eco Diesel and they love it but I have doubts about the longevity of those.

 

My boss has a eco diesel with like 160k on it but first year of ownership it was in the shop for 4 months for the dpf system. Now it’s a “ranch” truck with the delete an no issues since.

 

Hopefully by 2021 i'll have a job using my degree, i'd buy a diesel Tundra in a heartbeat. Planning on selling the Tundra the instant I get a salary job and would much rather get another Toyota than an F250

Did you see the Tundra dually up for sale recently? Looks like a nice build but he wants $60k for a lot of stock parts including the motor. Clean none the less tho

We can only hope! Lots of speculation and teaser pics but no true word from Toyota USA. But since Nissan did it recently with the Titan I bet they do it eventually.

I sure hope it happens. I'd consider the Nissan if it wasn't so damn ugly. I like the previous F250s as well. 6.7 seems like a good motor and they seem to be lasting decently from oil field guys

 

Yeah the new design on the Titan is about as fugly as the new Silverado

I have heard speculation of the 2021 Tundra getting the V8 dropped in exchange for a twin turbo V6.
Can’t imagine that would go over well.
