Keep in mind he rented TRD off-road 4x4 his 05 is a 2wd limited sport model which is probably why his was getting better gas mileage

Hard to say since I don't have a stock vs stock comparison. Our 07 was stick for a long time. V6 SR5. Rode great, comfy (cloth soft seats), gas mileage around 17-18 iirc. That was average over a long time. Real rough guess.

The 07 got a Daystar lift and Toyo AT IIs. Ride was still really great, loved those tires. Gas mileage down a couple points. Probably 15 -16 per tank.

The 16 TPE, bought it spacer lifted on the nittos. Ride was good. Probably on par with the lifted 07. Hard to say if one was better than the other really. Tires were a bit stiffer on the 16. Gas mileage was always around 15 per tank.

With the 16 having stock wheels/tires again, the ride is nice but still need to pull the blocks out .

End result... Really close on both with the nudge in tech going to the 16. and looks...

I know last year me and him and his wife went to Las Vegas and we drove it there and he was averaging about 380 a tank

That's pretty good. I can't really remember what we got on highway trips. Been a long time, but it was not bad at all. The 16, lifted on meats got us still around 15 our last trip, but I travel fast. could've been a little better if I went 65-70... but no fun in that :D

If only the V8 was an option still... :bananadead:

Ha! I remember that - our one and only trip to Concordia.

Tempting... We have discussed it a couple times. Doesn't alleviate our big need for a lowered dog hauler though... Bed cap would help but the height is too much... someday

That it was, but I gotta say, I like the smaller lots, like that place and the Oasis. COTA is just too spread out.
