I remember being told that about the heat while digging foxholes ~30 years ago in Ft. Hood. Mind over matter = I don't mind, and you don't matter. :D

My memorable FU moment was low crawling over a quarter mile in the deep sands at Fort Lee, NJ, during basic training in '83. I had a letter from my girlfriend in my pocket, as mail call just got over, and I knew it was a Dear John, and my name ain't John...:(

    Always need mods! :)
Hey guys...crawling out of the woodwork...the last ~5 months have been awful crazy around here.

I'm hoping you guys might be provide some advice/information please. :) Looks like the 4wd actuator has died, and I'm about to order the replacement...
    - Will I need to completely drain & refill the front diff at the same time, or do I just need to "top it off" after?
    - Any particular brand & weight favored?
    - new actuator, gasket seal, gear oil...anything else needed?

Hope you are all doing well...

If you've never done it, expect to drain and fill it.

Hidden Falls was a great time yesterday. Got a chance to introduce a few rookie co-workers to trails. Was really pleased with how the 33” ST Maxx tires performed. I imagine this place would be whole next level in rain.

Stagnant ... Barton Springs downstream from the pool is doggy poop water :(

As soon as my tandem comes in, I'm taking my 3 year old down to San Marcos headwater where it's crisp, clean, and cold ... oh that and Cape's Dam.

Anybody wanna come to Cape's Dam? Water is flowing nicely there.

Lots of decent spots to kayak and not stagnant. I went on Lake Travis Saturday and it was hella fun. Windy, but we stayed near coves.

That spot by Barton springs is nasty. I wouldn't take my dog there. There is a better spot on town lake by the Stevie Ray Vaugn statue at the dog park area for dogs at least.

If you head West, the Llano river usually has decent flow and a few tributaries although I haven't gone myself yet.

Also, lots of people like the Frio river but it's a bit of a ways away.

Saw on the news this morning where a gigantic cable spool had fallen off of a truck and caused $7K of damage to someone's Tacoma (2012-2015). No word on who owned the spool.

Was that any of us affected? They only showed a brief shot of the truck.
