Got it, mine has no predator steps nor mudguards so all good there. Are full skid plates or the TRD Pro skid plate needed for those 3-star trails?

The only time I've bumped the skid is going over a ledge too hard and compressing the front suspension. You'll see where those spots are, and just take the bypass around if you find yourself puckering up a bit.

We are expecting rain the next couple days. That’s changes everything out there. I should have you a map of recommended trails tomorrow.

I remember the mud at Ft. Hood. I’ve even thought “some rain would make this place next-level”. That said, I can’t wait!

@malatx Here are some safe routes to do alone (in Green) and some of the safer trails in Purple.

Same ole same down here brotha! Just went to La flor. The camps in that creek have expanded to almost needing their own shopping center. Lots and lots of zombies today.

    Always need mods! :)
GM all. At my wit's end here, and would sure appreciate some wisdom from the board... 4wd won't engage.

    Situation:
    - in 2wd, all is fine.
    - switch to 4hi, dashboard light flashes, stays in 2wd
    - switch to 4lo, dashboard light flashes, bell chimes, stays in 2wd.

    - observation: front shaft does not rotate while in drive, regardless of switch position.
    - changed out front diff actuator for a new one (before realizing front shaft wasn't even turning...old actuator looks just fine, btw)

I can check the voltage coming off the dashboard switch...but fear that digging into the ECU signals, or the signals at the transfer case or limit switches, will be beyond me. I'm trying to get this truck ready to send my daughter off to college, where I'm sure she'll encounter snow. Appreciate any suggestions on next steps... :(

Interesting. How can the front driveshaft not be turning, there are no hubs to lock/unlock.
