A perfect opportunity to see if the new canopy leaks. The composite bed is great but the front corners and the bedrail caps are almost designed to leak. Butyl tape to the rescue.

Anyone in the hood looking for a 36” Plano All Weather case? Been in my closet for a couple years...prior to that it was in my 4Runner for a few months. Unloaded the contents into my truck, so don’t need. None of the cubed foam remains.

Hey y'all! Recently moved to the Round Rock area. Even more recently traded in our old T4R SR5 for the rig below ('21 T4R Venture).

I started lurking around here because I was originally looking for a Taco but unfortunately "looking at tacos" turned into "buying another runner" when wifey and I fell hard for the Venture's looks... Hopefully y'all will still welcome us around here!

Here's the rig on day 3 of us owning her:

Haha glad my homie Zach could get you squared away with the Venture, amigo! She's a piece of art. Good luck keeping any money in the bank after you start the mods!

Yep... Today's little adventure out to Hidden Falls has me thinking about all the things I "need." Lift and tires... Totally necessary. Skids and recovery gear... Oh yeah, definitely a necessity! That poor bank account...

Hahahaha... Thanks! She comes with a price though: she'll easily convince a guy to get a t4r instead of the taco he was looking for .

My wife was not impressed when I brought home the Taco, but now I can't keep her from taking it out when she wants to go anywhere, she says she "just feels safer in it."

We're sharing a car until the pandemic puts us back in offices so she rightfully had some say... I'm just glad her preference is something off road worthy so the next car can be something a little less dog/camping friendly and a lot more "right pedal for fun" worthy.

In other news... My targeted ads on Facebook, Instagram, and the internet at large are completely buggered right now. "Has he been googling t4r or taco parts?!? What should we show him?!? Fuck it, here's a Prius ad..."

Here's the car I sold just before we moved from CO. I probably won't own another Subaru in my lifetime but damn that car was fun. Limited slip center and rear diffs made for an absolute blast in the snow and the fact that it was rarer than a lot of Ferraris in the USA (and a whole hell of a lot cheaper) made it a hit at shows/cars and coffees.

Two words: money and family. CO is stupid expensive now and I grew up in TX so all of my family is here. It's not like we moved from CO to West TX
