I don't believe there is any water visible at that spot.

Not the place I’m thinking of. I’m talking about the one down near Inks Lake.

Great minds think alike, took almost the same shot, except with mine the sky came out a bit funky, I think it was because of the length of the exposure and the sodium vapor lights.

Ahhh... there is a pull off that a lot of folks go to, with a picnic area.

It was at the scenic lookout on Park road 4, just about a mile off of the Hwy 29 junction. If the camera was pointed out to the right more, you could have seen the lake quite clearly, however with the sun, we couldn't pan over that way more.

Yes sir. That’s the spot I was thinking of. We usually take friends from out of town out that way. Beautiful view. We go out 1869 to 1174 to 1431 and drive them through Marble Falls then we take Park Rd 4 over to Hwy 29 then back to Liberty Hill. One of the better drives in the area IMHO.

Yeah, the scenic overlook on 4 I am talking is quite a bit south of that:

Try taking a left on 3509, just as you exit Marble Falls. That turns into Hoover Valley Road, and dumps you out on Park Road 4. Very nice on the scoot.
