Sounds like you need to get out to forest roads or the desert and do some high speed running with that kind of shock!

Since I had the clicker kings on my Tacoma that is the only style shock I’ll use again, upgraded the Raptor to that style, same with the F250. It makes such a difference being able to easily adjust in the suspension.

Today was going to be my last day of gainful employment, but I found out after I turned my notice in that my employer allows part time work if the manager agrees. Mine did, so I rescinded my resignation, and am onward to part time employment in 2021! It'll ease my glide path to retirement, but now I have to find a home for these T-shirts! In the world of automotive suspension, are coils like this unique to the shock? Like did ADS have Eibach do anything unique to the spring rate here?

Most springs on higher end shocks are going to be 14" with a 600# spring rate. Depending on how you order the shock, you can get as low as 550# up to 700#.

 

Yeah for sure, they do most the work on my truck, since I get the hookup there. Before they took the dive into doing aftermarket stuff in-house, I had a buddy at 4WP who'd get me wholesale pricing on everything over there (basically ring it up like they were billing the dealership then I'd just pay cash). But now that I've met @Texoma I'm hoping to have him be my go-to for all the stuff that my dealership can't do.

I know they use Eibach as their go-to springs at ADS, and in my early conversations with Tyler at ADS he asked me about how I use the truck, and what all crap I have on it adding weight, so I trusted him to choose the right spring for me, but now that you mention it I should ask him exactly what they are!

Boom, good to know! We did a bit of urban offroading earlier today in my buddy's 4runner who got his ADS finished yesterday, basically ran up a curb next to the dealership with an embankment and dropped back down, rather quickly, and you couldn't feel a damn thing with those shocks. It was super impressive.

On that note, if anyone is looking for a set of the Tacoma TRD Pro Fox Shocks with 3/4" spacer for the front and Icon AAL for the rear, it'll be off my truck (33k miles on em) here in a couple days!
