    to add to the discussion on where you should look at housing, cedar park is a nice area north of atx, and its some of the more affordable housing from what I understand. its only about 30 minute commute to downtown.

    its past bananaland prices, buddy of mines family has a house on the non-dirty side of 6th its a modest three bedroom 3.5 bath valued at 1.5 million. rent is like 4k plus a month.
