Absolutely, Im just blown away you got RTT on there by yourself. There are a bunch of us south. Reach out next time your wrenching I'm sure one of us could help you.

 

It's the torx shape in the head of the screw that's stripped. That's what I meant when I said it just spins. I didn't mean to elude that the screw was spinning as it's firmly torqued into place, I just stripped the torx pattern in the head.

File or grind the sides of the head so you can turn then with a spanner, or open end wrench.

 

Right on man! I will. I saw a video that showed a guy roll his tent up on a hand truck, flip it onto the tailgate and lean it on the rack. He then got it up there solo. Was worth a shot... I want a garage hoist for sure now lol

 

Had that happen to one once. Cordless drill with a large Phillips got mine out, then I carefully matched it with a good one. Only problem I had was the replacement was shiny and the others weren't so it was a permanent reminder of my fuck up.

 

Got it, try some vice grips or channel locks to get it moving.

 

This is a must. I've saved myself a lot of heartache by buying this set.

See if you can get a 6mm in there. You could try a 5.5mm if for whatever reason you have one.
