City Market in Luling is well worth the extra 15 minute drive past Lockhart. Best brisket I've had by a long shot.

Went there once. Was an off day. Only the ribs were good. Sausage and brisket was soggy. Will definitely try again though

City Market is really damn good when its spot on. Definitely worth trying out again.

Also - Snow's BBQ in Lexington is worth a short trip to. Their brisket is pretty spot on, super tender. And Coopers out in Llano for burnt ends (dipped). Holy cow, I love their BBQ, its all good. Out of the Lockhart places, I prefer Kreuz's....just because they use a pretty heavy zebra rub (S&P) on their brisket. Closer to home, though, there's places like House Park BBQ, Micklethwait Craft Meats, and of course, Franklin's if you don't mind a wait.

    .....and now...I'm hungry. Damn it.

I only have enough time to catch up on one thread, so I'm making it this one. You're welcome.

Inman's pie and pork loin is perhaps the greatest thing ever. I have both in my house RIGHT NOW.
    INMANS.
Black's in Lockhart is hard core legit. Oldest continuously family owned BBQ joint in Texas. Their beef rib is so huge it comes with a pound of meat attached. So soft, teeth not required.
    LOCKHART. BLACKS.
She's just down the street from us. Hitting her up soon. Parking lot was full at 2:30 yesterday. WHO THE FUCK IS FULL ON A THURSDAY?!?

    I'm hungry again now...

I was having network issues...weird. Wouldn't post, only to find out it posted multiple times.

    I need a new router.
