    I used to live there for a couple years (close to the stone hill town center). It's nice, but according to my roommate (who owned the house) the taxes and fees on property where horrible compared to other parts of town.

    Travis County Taxes and property values are higher than the surrounding counties. I'd love to have found a place in Burnet County that would keep me close enough to work and the lake, but just didn't happen.

    What's tax rate? Mine in Lago is about 2.5% in Travis County.

    i know im in the 3+% so thats about right

    my realtor buddy said some pflugerville are are 2.7 and as low as 2.5

    didnt know that the same city can have a different tax rate. tells you how much i know about real estate
