Too bad HF isn't on a Sunday... I'd love to head out there with some experience folks...

What do y'all use to communicate? Walkies or CB?

 

If you have a CB even better but @travis5049 came up with a good idea to use zello. My CB isnt working right so I'm taking it next week to get looked at

 

Sweet. I already have Zello so that's cool. I've been wanting to get a CB. Really been wanted to do a lot of things, but the $$$$ is the issue...

 

Pfffttt you can get a cb for pretty cheap. Just look at the bottom of this thread. Install is easy too and we could get you up and going in no time!

Thanks. He stood over ten times today, and once it was all on his own power. Strength is coming back slowly.

We both got covered in pee this afternoon when the tube that comes directly out of his kidney broke. Two hours of drama and genius nurse engineering later, and he's able to pee out the intended hole again. Success! Nurses are incredible.

Can't wait until he's strong enough to withstand the surgery to take the tumor out and can go back to peeing normally.

 

Best of luck to your FIL, Cap'n. Take it day by day, celebrate the small steps and improvements, and let them know that you're there for them & care for them. I'm dealing with parental difficulties along the same sort of vein, and know how hard & stressful it can be. Keep positive, and celebrate what you can, where you can, when you can.

 

That'll all be easy compared to the rear wheel bearing job I'm doing in the morn. Take your time getting here, I'll be in the garage around 830a.
