Th CV axle blew into a thousand pieces right before we hit the trail. Limped back to camp to fix it so we can get back to Austin.

Yeah kinda sucked, ruined the last couple trail runs. But on the other hand, a buddy of mine ran into town to get the parts and a bunch of people offered help.

So it was resolved rather quickly.

The one thing I can highly recommend to everybody with the 4WD, go get the southeast Overland CV removal tool. Going to order one asap to add to the truck, made things so much easier.

Crow bar and a hammer didn't tread ya well?

Sorry to hear about the luck man, it's a PITA break especially on the trail. Better a CV break than your spider gears shred though. Unless you have my luck and they happen at the same time

Damn, that's a long wait lol. Somebody with one of those sweet awnings needs to park on the end and open it up for us to chill under. Just throwing that out there.

Haha thanks man- we all made it out relatively unscathed beyond the usual pinstripes that are just part of the deal. Glad you got your CV fixed!

First visit to Hidden Falls this weekend, didn't do anything crazy but did get my pitch to 43 degrees or so.
