    FOR THE RECORD...

The site keeps hyperlinking Harbor Freight, and I end up thinking "why the fuck does everyone think that's such a great place? Their tools suck!"

Sounds like we have a good group for Harbor Freight next Saturday. We should tune channel 14 in the CB. I am good to meet when ever. I like to meet at JJ's BBQ in Lago Vista. When we all agree on a time, then we can pull a head count.

Is anyone available this week to help tune my antenna? I'd like to take care of it before I try to use it at HF.

I run the same thing, just took off a 4' and put on a 2' i never had to tune it and it worked great multiple trips to HF. It wouldnt hurt to tune if you can find someone to do it... but honestly you will prob be fine if you cant find anyone to do it

I know there are a few CB pros here so please correct me if im wrong. But I wouldnt let an antenna tuning keep me from wheeling.

Then I won't be as worried about it.

I do need to find out how to improve receive performance though. I got the cobra 75wxst and I'm having a hard time picking anything up that's not pretty close by.
