Congrats on the house @-dustin !! Last time I helped someone move this happened and is now my excuse behind never moving anyone again.

I just wish I had realized what was happening sooner. haha. I saw the tire go flying by and was like WTF - some poor sap just lost a tire...then I realized it was you. lmao

 

As calm as I may have seemed when you saw me there were lots of f bombs being dropped inside my Runner at that time.

 

Yeah I was like - Dammmnnn - Kelly calm AF! I would have been crying most likely. I just loved when the cavalry rolled in - and the cops were like - wait - what is happening...thinking that some random strangers rolled up and started jacking your car up to fix it. LMAO. That was the best.

 

I screwed up on a return trip when my wiring was screwed up and when the engine died I muttered "that's it, we're dead" and my 6 year old son heard me and took it literally. Felt like a jerk while trying to console him and not actually die while getting the truck off the road.

 

I was alone thankfully but yeah that would be scary for sure.

 

the real message here is that i need sliders if i'm going to move anything in my 4Runner.

Those are Shrockworks bolt on sliders for reference. Also, the wheel was apparently bad(messed up in shipping)and we couldn't figure out why I was losing lug studs and changed out all the studs and the lug nuts and spacers and everything. Apparently it finally just had enough and it kind of all of the sudden sheared like 5 lug studs as I was about to turn onto the road back to my house(where we were going to swap my spare wheel/tire on to see if it helped and replace all the lug studs again to be sure). Regardless...i'm done moving peeps.

I mean free beer might be worth the drive. Throw in some BBQ and I might even pick up a lawn chair or something. Also I thought of you when I went to my dentist earlier this week because he was talking about how he went to school in San Marcos and was in Gruene a lot. I asked about the restaurant and he said I should definitely go.

 

I can try to get BBQ but I dont plan on moving for another 10 years or more Which restaurant was that? Gristmill or Clear Springs because they are both baller AF!
