you live near Blazer Tag? I'm there often...more often than I want to be...with the kidlettes. when you and your girl pop one out, we can have double dates there!

Is Discount (or DTD) having any sales for July 4th on those tires? I got an email yesterday, but didn't bother looking.

    So...

The FIL is improving, somewhat. Cancer is definitely spreading, so now the plan is to just keep him pain-free and spend as much time with him as we have. There will come a point where it will overwhelm one system and get his body so out of balance it can't recover, at which point we will have reached the end. We will maintain our vigil with him all through this so he's never alone.

    Cancer sucks.

Still, we make a point to continue to let him know every day how much we love and cherish him. He's been an incredible father to his daughters, an awesome father-in-law, amazing grandfather, and just an all-around great friend to everyone he meets.

Being able to be around him while you can, even while making sacrifices to do so, means a lot. At least he's surrounded by great people in this trying time to comfort him and let him know he's loved. It has to be difficult for all and that's what makes normal people extraordinary. Even rallying an online community around this with thoughts and prayers speaks volumes to your character and devotion. We're all here for you and yours and will help however you need us. Hope he is able to rest easy through these trying times and enjoy all y'all are bringing him.

You are correct they are always packed! I started going to the one on Slaughter for that reason. They have been good so far after 2 rotations. I still think the best location I've been to in the area though is the Bee Cave/Lakeway location right off 620/71.

Nice, I need to figure out what I'm going to do to get my bike under my camper shell (not that I haven't ridden it in over a Is there free parking anywhere down there? Or is all paid parking?
They have up to $100 in rebates for 4 tires, and additional if you buy with one of their Synchrony cards. Starting tomorrow, 6/30.
I keep prodding @ChadsPride to get his tires.

This is a tough time Cap...I know how you feel. I've lost 2 grandparents to cancer and almost my mother a few years back. It is great that you get to be there with him during this time. Make the best of what time is left! We are all here for you if you need some backup!

I have the Falkens in 265/70/17 so you can see them in person on Saturday if you want. I REALLY like them...super quiet so far, wearing good, and really good traction in rain. I haven't taken them off road yet but expect good things.
