Yeah I'm pretty bad at planning stuff. I totally forgot about ACL. I'm going to try and get up there early and may have to leave early also. Thinking I don't need to be at Zilker until about noon anyways.

I want to show her off bad!!

If you're doing all three days of ACL and planning on staying for the evening stuff on Sunday, you're not gonna wanna be there at noon. More like 4pm at the earliest because you'll be beginning that process of being sick of standing outside listening to bands for a third consecutive day. At least, that was me last time I went to ACL.

First year i'm not going. For me its not the same as it used to be and I guess as I get older I get sick of dealing with the crowds.

If you've never gone, you'll love it. So much good music. Have fun ya'll!

Thanks for the heads up. I can't go this year either. Dove hunting this weekend. Finally getting some cool air so they are starting to fly. Ya'll have a great time and i'll pass on the tip to a friend who is going so he can get the discount.

Good luck with the hunt! I've been itching to get out and bag some birds. Weather is perfect right now.

Thanks man! Been waiting for the weather to finally get like this. My Project Manager's family owns roughly 3,000 acres in Elgin so we can go anytime. Plan on sitting between two tanks out on some of the property and watch em fly between the two. Should be good this weekend. :fingerscrossed:

Not sure about the meeting spot but with regards to not being out to the Oasis in years......you're in for a shock, its like a compound now. Ever since that deck fire that was caused from a lightning strike that place has exploded.....and the food still sucks :drunk:

    Yeh that's it

I got something there last time that wasn't all that bad, think it was the nachos. Its all about the scenery though, no one goes really goes to the Oasis to do anything but drink margaritas and either setup a great evening the the lady friend or show the tourist trap to the family.
