It was awesome! There's a greater potential for body and drivetrain damage, but there's a ton to explore.

Thanks for reminding me, actually. Here is some video we took!

I had one camera on my roof (batteries died early), and one strapped to Mark's bumper.

Here is one of my favorites. I wasn't able to edit it with the program I had, so forgive the ~1min in the middle when we're yelling and "wooing" like idiots. In fact, do yourself a favor and just skip to the part where he re-adjusts the camera :p

Thank you, sliders! Fell off my line and came down hard on frame and sliders.

Only place I needed to be winched. After I fell off my line, my gas tank, rear leaf, and soon-to-be pumpkin were resting on that rock

Mark was on the CB, telling me I couldn't make it up this, right before I...y'know...

I'm not opposed to the idea. It's a heck of a drive though.

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
Hey guys, I'm sorry to go off topic here, but can anyone tell me a good place to go to get my new suspension installed? I'm getting Bilsteins 5100 put all around with eibach coils in front along with OME new 1.5" leaf packs in back. I'm wanting to spend the least amount possible but want to make sure it's done right. I'd say I'm somewhat mechanically inclined but I've never messed with a suspension before and don't wanna screw anything up.

If you have any suggestions you can send me a message, that way we don't take up space on this thread.

Maybe after I get the new suspension on I can try out some of these trails you guys go to. Thanks for the help!

I did mine myself with no skill just beer haha. It isn't tough but another hand always helps. The leaf springs can be the toughest in my opinion so do those first

Haha I would supply all the goods, pizza, beer...etc

If anyone in austin wouldn't mind tackling this project with me that would be awesome! I'll throw in some $ if that would entice anyone, not a rich dude though so maybe like $50 plus food and brew. Let me know, I don't bite!

If y'all want to I wouldn't mind the help cuz I DO NEED IT. Once my toys come in I'll post here again and if y'all are still up to it I'd be down to come over and knock out the new suspension. I'm excited for them to come in!

I have no free time on weekdays, but given enough notice for planning, I would love to help on a weekend day. Do you have all the tools we'll need? Or does anyone have the tools?

I received my suspension parts today! Only thing is I thought the 2 rear shocks are supposed to be different lengths. The bilstein 5125's I received are the same length and part number, so I'm postive they are the same. I called ToyTec to ask why they are the same. They said they don't have to be different lengths, "it's not a must".

Can anyone help me out here and let me know if they absolutely need to be different lengths?

    Thanks!

    -Moe
