    I’ll let you know for sure when the next shooting competition is and we’d love for y’all to come watch. I’m working on getting a few aftermarket parts for the 10/22 to fix some of the issues. :spending:

    It’s a learning curve but he’s picking it up pretty quick. There are quite a few specific rules. The handbook is 35 pages long. :anonymous:

    I just like that it’s teaching him good marksmanship and discipline. Kids that age need something to stay focused on!

    Thanks Josh. I’m digging into the .22 today to see what was causing the ftf and fte issues on Saturday. I have a new extractor in the way and I’ll be polishing the bolt, interior of the receiver and the little feed ramp today. I have a Magpul Hunter X stock in the way and a set of Fiber optic sites. :anonymous: It should be a bit smoother once we get a few things tweaked.

    Nice. Be careful polishing. Do not polish the bolt face. You might affect headspace negatively.

    I've thought of buying that stock, before.

    Good advice! I’m mainly after the top of the bolt where it rides the receiver. That’s where the roughness is. I’m also looking at that main spring on the charging handle. It’s always been tough to manipulate. It could be that we just need to break things in a bit more but we will see.
