I noticed that, but I wasnt sure if that was the cord or something else... you would have to get on a ladder just to grab it

Tell me something i dont know! Haha just kidding man thanks! yours is coming along pretty nicely too! :)

Yep ;) which is kind of weird because were a pretty small city so you wouldnt expect to see that in one of our schools. There are 2 more high schools in yuma that have auto shops just like this too. its really dirty right now though as you can see so were gonna be cleaning it for a day or two sometime next week haha

About 8' 2".. :p ha no but it has a pull down ratcheting thing so it stays when you pull it down but it acts kinda weird sometimes lol

Yep, they just dont work very well sometimes so they go back up instead staying down. Its kind of annoying when you need it because we have to jump for it lol

two questions....but first nice tacoma! lol
    ok now...
    1) when you took off the silver and black striping over the wheel was it hard and how did you do it?

    2) when you applied the laquer thinner....was the paint that was peeling from a paint that you applied or was it the stock paint that came with the grille?

Thanks man :) the silver and black fender flares come off by unscrewing the little clips that screw into the fender. Then you can pull them off but youll probably end up breaking half the little clips like i did haha. But you dont need em anyways :p and the lacquer thinner took off the stock paint that was on the grille

oh and i almost forgot when you were taking the black off did you just wipe it down with a rag or did you let it soak in the thinner?

The rest of mine was already chrome but you can try using lacquer thinner on it and see if it works! :)

I feel so accomplished! :yay: got the gears in and everything put back together.. 4.88s are SOO much better than 4.10s! Im really glad i didnt go with 4.56, these are perfect! It feels like i actually have some power now, it pulls pretty good at low rpm's and havent tested WOT yet because im still breaking them in. The gear swap itself went really good, the backlash was already almost right on when we put them back in and the wear pattern was awesome too. Now i know how to regear a diff ;)
