G'day! Welcome to Tacoma World.. I am sure there will be a bunch of Hilux questions for you.

I lived in Darwin for half a year when I was 12 (1970) before the cyclone whiped away the place. Got there after drive across Oz from Perth... climbed Ayers Roack along the way! Too young to drink then, but I will toast a Fosters to you!

    Seems plenty friendly here

Great to see some ex Aussies here, actually we might well see some more Tracy type cyclone action this year, its really shaping up for some action with near wettest season on record

The Hilux has a few more mods planned for it so will be hunting around to see whats happening stateside and maybe some of the Aussie innovation may transfer as well

I like the look of some of the APR gear

Welcome to TW! I just spent the last year and a half drilling natural gas outside of Newcastle. I drove a hilux for work and when I came home... just had to get me the US version.

PS whoever said there was Fosters in Oz.... your crazy. Never saw a can of it the whole time I was there.

Swan Lager and Emu Bitter, I remember back in 1970... Here in the states, Fosters is in all the markets (at least here in Southern California). We have an Australian theme restauraut chain called 'Outback Steakhouse' and Fosters is the house beer on tap.
