Australian Shepherds?

Anyone else own an Aussie? If so, post your pics

 

Love my Aussie! He's a miniature and 13 years old. Best dog I've ever had. I just hate watching him getting old. He's slow getting up now and not near as active. It's gonna tear me up when he goes. This was from last winters snow storm.

 

Aussie Mix. She is nuts but is finally starting to calm down and get out of the puppy stage.

Ours is a blue merle.

 

He's def. furry/fluffy compared to mine. I have a three year old male mini black tri named Max. My first dog and my best friend. I love him and I feel the same when the day comes I'm going to ball my eyes out.

 

He's an Aussie mix and has always been a handful, but I love him something awful. He'll be 16 in November.

I used to have a tri-colored red, she was a awesome dog, but has since passed. Great dogs as a whole.

 

i used to have one, she passed earlier this year, but she was 17 years old...no doubt the best dog ever

 

So Aussies live awhile I'm assuming. Yes!

 

its nice but it makes it sooo much harder when you have to let them go. I have balled like baby every time I have put a pet down.

 

Pretty dogs. They seem to live long for a bigger dog. What size do they get on average? Good with kids?

 

mine is about 40 lbs. She is all legs though. She is great with my 5 year old bro and his friends. We have to occasionally tell her to be gentle but the kids get her wound up and being a puppy she likes playing so I don't blame her. We did a session of obedience training when she was about 2-3 months old. She is super sweet and loves to cuddle with you too.

 

Mine is a mini so he isn't big but he isn't small. Maybe 20 pounds

I might have to look into these dogs. I always wanted a great Dane but don't want to deal with a short life span with them. We have silly taco bell dog but I want a real dog.. Do these dogs shed??

 

They shed the winter coat but if you maintain them it will be fine
