Ratings are only based on a Dasher's last 100 orders; I am happy to say that the "contract violation", which I got when a scam artist customer claimed that they never got their order, is now off my record!

I saw this pretty house while delivering a DoorDash order in a neighborhood (not the customer's), and I looked it up on Zillow; 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, central A/C, electric heat (heat pump), and built in 1984. It sold recently, the pics are still online. The house is in good shape but very outdated. Still, the "Zestimate" is $470K because, well, Central Bucks...

 

Not a bad looking house. Not a fan of all the colors. But nice little place.

Z-Estimate is worthless.
I'll sell you my mom's place for it Z-Estimate.
(I'm serious too)

 

It is just under 2,000 square feet and sold for $315K in March 2019.

 

Chalfont is a very picturesque little borough...

 

Sounds like a fair deal.

I paid $350k for my mom's new place, it was 1,750 sq/ft.
We she sells her other house, she's buying "my" house.
I'm planning to build on a couple lots I have 2 counties over.

I don't want to be in Knox County any longer. It's growing too much for me.

I would still buy this house if the price was right, but a heat pump with no gas or oil backup this far north is a very difficult pill to swallow...

DoorDash is offering $75 bonuses in a few areas to all Dashers who complete 15 trips by tomorrow at midnight; I am doing both my area and Bethlehem to earn $150, and I took these pictures at a house I delivered to in Bethlehem...

Yeah actually, and it happens more often than I care to admit. One time pre-COVID, I delivered to some women in a business complex; I only noticed after completing the delivery that I had not been tipped.

I walked out to my truck and noticed this woman who had just pulled up in a Subaru Forester. She was glaring at me intensely, and it made me so uneasy that I asked her what her problem was. She proceeded to go on this rant about a previous dasher had delivered their order to the wrong building, and I'm guessing somebody claimed it. There was obviously miscommunication somewhere, because this woman in the Subaru drove out to the restaurant to pick up the food in person, while one of her coworkers put in another DoorDash order.

They were actually convinced there was one driver working all of Doylestown, and that I must be the same guy who delivered the first order to the wrong place.

Needless to say, I flipped out on her for flipping out on and set the record straight; I then made a mental note of the address and vowed to never deliver another order there.

I got a no-tip order tonight, but it was literally on my way home from Bethlehem, and I got $75 for completing fifteen deliveries...

 

It is strange that people don't tip..or when taking an Uber. I only Ubered once but I tipped the guy $3 on a $9 ride.

 

I always tip my Uber driver!
