Quakertown was a dreary shithole when we lived here in the 1990s, and guess what? It still is!

I seen a Ferrari a few times in Knoxville.
And some one around here has an R8.

But for the most part. It’s full size trucks and SUVs where I live,

 

There’s a guy on YouTube that goes by StreetSpeed717.
He lives up by Hershey, Pa. He had a few McLarens.
He said they were the quickest (not fastest) cars he ever owned.
But probably the worst when it came to reliability.
Needless to say, he doesn’t buy McLaren anymore.

 

I am the type of guy who will walk past a brand new McLaren to look at an early 90s American sedan; I saw this 1990 Pontiac Bonneville LE this morning before I started dashing...

My dad and his 2nd wife had one of those when I was a kid.
It rode nice. I would fall a sleep in the back seat all the time.

 

There are a lot of Corvettes.
The road aren't to bad here in the winter.
But I don't consider a Corvette to be in the supercar class.
Well at least not any prior to the C8. And at that, the C8 ZO6 just barely makes it on "the list".
Waiting to see what the ZR1 does against the Italians and Germans.

A rust free 2000’s Saturn?!

 

The L-series aren't really rustproof like the S-series; I've seen plenty of rusty ones around here...

 

And if the vehicle experiences a mechanical failure that isn't your fault, it isn't your problem!

 

This seems unique to Asian places in Bethlehem, and guess what? I'm not picking up another one in this area again! Both times, I've had the misfortune of needing to use the restroom when I showed up at these places...

 

I am NEVER doing this in downtown Allentown AGAIN!

 

This was in a neighborhood in Quakertown where I dropped off an order; I've been doing Uber Eats on and off since December 2018, and this is the first time I've been required to get a PIN from the customer, and the customer was just as confused...

 

Fair enough.
But I'm still sticking with the C8 as the "first" corvette that made it on my supercar list.

 

You mean you're gonna move to PA year round?
