I wonder what the Bronco sports bumpers are made of? The Bronco appeared to have minimal damage compared to the Tacoma.

Interior cams give you a pretty wide angle and can show a bit of a side view through the windows

Here's a 4 channel system I have in my daily beater

It's natural to second-guess yourself after something like this happens, but please don't be too hard on yourself. From what you've described, it sounds like you did your best to react in a split-second moment. Hindsight can be a real pain, right? But in the heat of the moment, all you can do is go with your gut and hope for the best. It's also worth considering reaching out to a professional for some advice, especially since legal matters can get pretty complicated. A Sugar Land car accident lawyer might be able to provide some clarity on your options moving forward. They can help you understand your rights and figure out the best way to handle things from here.

No, "she" wasn't trying to scam me, she just wasn't paying attention.

Since there was no damage (she hit my hitch extension), I just asked if she was ok and wished her a happy new year.

I have two Vantrue dashcams. They are really good quality and value for the money.

I've been thinking about doing a dashcam setup for years, they keep getting better & better ie. Sony StarVis2 sensors, 4K, etc. Haven't done it yet.

What I want is a public-transit-style system with 4 cameras pointed in all 4 cardinal directions, feeding to a central NVR. Minimum 30FPS 1080pHD, ideally 4K on all channels.

There are a lot of 12V automotive NVR-box offerings out there. If anyone knows of good threads on TW forums devoted to this topic specifically -- not just dashcams, but multi-channel NVR setups -- pls. reply w/ links.

Probably sold or traded the truck & bought something non-Tacoma-ish, hence no need to return.
